DR. MD. TABARAK HOSSAIN BHUIYAN

Dr. Md. Tabarak Hossain Bhuiyan is a licensed lawyer enrolled with the Bangladesh Bar Council. He is a member of the Dhaka Bar Association. He is appearing the courts as a litigation lawyer regularly. He obtained his LLB degree from the University of Dhaka. He obtained Global Professional LLM in Business from the University of Toronto, Canada. He also completed a course on ‘Contract Law’ with ‘A’ Grade from the Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Canada. He obtained Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) Law Society of Ontario (LSO). In addition, he successfully completed the Internationally Trained Lawyers Program from the Law Department of the University of Toronto, Canada. As part of ITLP at the University of Toronto, he completed the Foundational Mediation workshop organized by St. Stephe’s Community House and following this workshop, he worked as an intern in the Ontario Court of Justice to resolve disputes outside the court. He obtained his MBA from the North South University and received Chancellor’s Gold Medal by securing perfect CGPA 4.0 on a scale of 4.0. He obtained his M.Phil. degree from the Marketing Department, the Faculty of Business Studies, the University of Dhaka. Thereafter, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Faculty of Business Studies of the same university. He successfully completed the CPD accredited course of Core Mergers and Acquisitions Skills held in Singapore. Thereafter, he successfully completed the International Mergers and Acquisitions (IM&A) course from the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions & Alliances held at Toronto, Canada. He believes that business degrees and law degrees form a good combination. Therefore, he prepared himself by taking the full advantage of this combination. He has expertise on various branches of laws including Banking & Securities Law, Company Matters, Artha Rin Matters, Property Law, Mergers & Acquisitions etc.

Dr. Bhuiyan had started his career in the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF). He took early retirement from the BAF to ultimately switch to legal profession. During his career in the BAF he gained extensive experiences both as a prosecuting officer and defending officer in different types of Courts Marshal (Military Courts). His interest in law developed by working as a lawyer (Defending officer and prosecuting officer) in the Military Courts in his early career. He is committed to providing legal services and upholding the dignity of the legal profession.
